What is PRP?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), also known as the ‘vampire facial’, is a revolutionary treatment that can make your skin look and feel younger simply by harnessing the power of your own blood platelets to stimulate cell growth and rejuvenation.
First, a small amount of your own blood is taken. Then, the blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate the good stuff, called platelet-rich plasma (PRP). This PRP is loaded with growth factors that can make your skin cells grow and rejuvenate. Next, the PRP is carefully injected back into specific areas of your skin. This helps to regenerate your cells and improve the texture of your skin. The whole procedure usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour, so it’s quick and convenient.
PRP has been shown to effectively treatment hair loss. When injected into the scalp, these growth factors can stimulate new hair growth and prevent further hair loss. The plasma is injected into the affected areas of the patient’s scalp, where blood supply to the hair follicles have weakened due to medical treatments, illness, menopause, stress or genetic reasons.

What changes will I see?
- A reduction in the appearance of shadows under the eyes,
- A reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- A reduction of hair loss
- Lines and wrinkles are reduced and the complexion looks healthier, especially shadows under the eyes, which look brighter.
- For best results we recommend a course of 3 treatments. Then every 6-12 months a “top-up” session to enable the skin to continue to regenerate itself over the longer term.
What’s the difference between PRP and Cellular Matrix?
This revolutionary treatment differs from the regular PRP treatment as the Cellular Matrix™ actually contains the hyaluronic acid (HA) which helps provide hydration into the deeper layers. HA holds moisture a thousand times its weight. This gives skin its soft and plump texture. PRP Cellular Matrix is an advanced innovative patented method by RegenLab (Switzerland). This method combines hyaluronic acid (HA) and your PRP in one treatment. Cellular Matrix is the true “natural dermal filler” and can be used in areas such as nasolabial folds and deeper lines and wrinkles.
Are PRP injections safe?
With PRP therapy, there is no risk of rejection or disease transmission, since the platelet solution is produced from your own blood. The treatment carries minimal risk of adverse reactions or complications.
